Eligibility Requirements
THE CHRISTIAN MUSIC EXPLOSION TALENT SHOW
Eligibility Requirements, Rules and Contest Conditions
1. Minimum Eligibility Requirements. As of August 19, 2010, each participant must:
a. Be the minimum 18 years of age; and
b. Be a legal citizen or resident of the U.S., and
c. Not be an employee, shareholder, officer, director, agent, or representative of 4KIDS of South Florida, Inc. or any other person or entity connected with the Christian Music Explosion, including, but not limited to, production personnel for the CME show, corporate sponsors or any person or entity connected with the talent show, administration or judging of the show.
2. Release.
Each participant hereby authorize CME, to film, tape, photograph, record and use their name, voice,
likeness, performance, sounds, conversation, biography and/or any materials that participant may supply
during their appearance or participation in connection with the filming, production, editing and broadcast
of CME sponsored performances.
Participants further agree that all rights in the performance shall be the sole and exclusive property of
CME including the right to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, transmit, license and otherwise use all or any portion
of the videotaping in any manner and/or media now known or unknown or hereby devised in perpetuity
for any and all purposes.
Participants further represent that they have the power and authority to grant to CME these rights and
will not seek from CME, or any other entity, any royalties or fees with respect to the rights granted herein
to CME. CME shall not be obligated to make any payment to any third parties with respect to the use of
the rights granted hereunder, now or in the future.
3. Performance.
Each participant should be prepared to perform for up to two minutes. Only solo performances will be
considered. Participants may sing a capella or with a track (CD). No groups or background singers will be
permitted. Participants may sing the Christian/Gospel song of their choice. All participants will be judged
by a panel of judges in the areas of vocal quality and strength, interpretation, stage presence, and image.
Participants may not wear any article of clothing with visible designer, sports, or any other name, logo,
and/or artwork subject to protection by copyright or trademark laws, or clothing showing the name,
likeness of a celebrity, living or dead while performing in the show.
4. Registration.
The cost per applicant to register for CME is $35.00. The registration fee is non‐refundable. Participants
may go online at www.ChristianMusicExplosion.org to print out the application form and release. Please
fill in all information and bring with you to the live audition at:

Participants must complete the application form and relaease in order to be considered for the final 10 participants in
the CME talent show; however, registration does not guarantee a placement in the final 10.
5. Advancing in the Show.
Fifteen (15) qualifying participants will be selected at the end of the submission period. Participants will
receive notification that they have been chosen as one of the 15 qualifying participants. Qualifying
participants must travel to Fort Lauderdale, at their expense, one week prior to the event (you will receive
notification regarding place, date, and time) and be available, Thursday, August 19, 2010 for rehearsal and
Friday, August 20, 2010 for the CME talent show.
6. Check‐in.
Upon notification of their selection as a finalist, participant must arrive at the meeting site approximately
one week prior to the CME talent show and successfully complete the registration process. Participants
will be required to show one (1) form of identification (with photograph) to show proof of age.
Acceptable forms of identification include a valid driver’s license, government issued identification card,
or passport.
7. Forms and Paperwork.
By participating in the CME talent show, participant agrees to the requirements of the competition and
agrees to complete all required forms in advance of the competition beginning. Please note that any
participant who either (i) fails to complete any form; (ii) gives false information; or (iii) fails to reveal
pertinent information may be disqualified.
8. General Conditions.
By participating in the CME, you agree to be bound by the Terms, Conditions and Eligibility Requirements
of the show and the decision of the judges, which shall be final and binding.
CME, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to refuse any submission to the show. CME also
reserves the right to disqualify an applicant, in its sole and absolute discretion. Reasons for disqualification may include, without limitation to, violation of the rules or tampering with the entry process or the rehearsal process. All rules and procedures are subject to change at CME’s sole discretion.
The presence of the participant at the rehearsal or finals, constitute participant’s consent and agreement
to the recording and use of their performance, appearance, name, voice, singing voice, likeness and any musical or sound effects produced by participant for use by CME (including any advertising, marketing, promotion, merchandising and the exploitation of any and all ancillary rights), in any and all media now known or hereafter created, throughout the universe, in perpetuity for no compensation.
Participant agrees to release and hold harmless the CME or any other person or entity connected with the CME (including, but not limited to, production personnel for a possible CME television program, participating television stations, advertising agencies, corporate sponsors or any person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the participants, or any of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents or representatives, from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense including without limitation (i) property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with or resulting from travel to or from rehearsal and the finals; (ii) being present in the rehearsal and finals venues, and/or participating in the rehearsal or finals process; (iii) any printing, typographical, or technological error in association with the rehearsal or finals process; (iii) any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement,
trademark infringement or any other intellectual property related cause of action.
